Overnight Oats

This recipe is so easy, you can’t go bad with it. Just check from the list of ingredients bellow what you have available in your pantry and start experiment. By preparing this healthy breakfast you will be so excited that you will be looking forward so much for your wake up call like never before!

  • oats (flakes)
  • one small banana (or any fresh season fruit available)
  • one dry fig (dates, mango or any dried fruit you may have)
  • a table spoon of peanut/pistachio/almond butter
  • a couple of nuts (walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts etc)
  • a teaspoon of chia seeds (poppy, sunflower, pumpkin seeds, ground linen or any seeds you may have)
  • a teaspoon of the following superfoods: cinnamon, turmeric (add a pinch of pepper to make use of the antioxidant powers of the turmeric), spirulina, matcha, carob, raw cocoapowder or in nibs, your favourite protein
  • a pinch of lavender flowers (optional)
  • a spoonfull of honey (or any sweetner such as agave syrup)
  • vegetal milk (almond, coco, rice, soya etc)



Take a clean jar and add two to three fingers of oats


Chop the banana or the fresh fruit, then the dried fruit and add them to the jar


If you are a regular fitness goer add a tablespoon of peanut butter, a couple of nuts, the seeds and a teaspoon of your favourite superfood


Add the honey


Top everything with vegetal milk until you almost fill the jar


Put on the lid and give it a firm shake and leave it rest in the fridge until the next morning
