Cocoa & Orange Energy Balls

  • 50 g of pitted dates (best Medjoul dates, if not available use dried dates that you can soak for 10 minutes in hot water)
  • 30 g of grinded linen seeds
  • 40 g of walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon of pure cocoa powder
  • half a teaspoon of orange zest / dried peel chopped in small pieces
  • 1 teaspoon of walnut/hazelnut oil
  • a pinch of natural vanilla extract
  • a pinch of salt



If using dried dates, soak them for 10 minutes in hot water. When ready make sure you remove their stone


Grind the linen seeds


Process with a food processor the walnuts, the linen, the orange zest/peel, the cocoa, the oil, the vanilla and the salt until you will get a maleable texture


Take small portions of the mass with a teaspoon and roll it between your palms til you get a mini ball


Keep the balls in an air tight jar. Consume within a month
