Black Sesame Chiffon Cake

- 30 ml vegetable oil
- 25 g black sesame powder
- 35 g plain flour
- 20 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 45 g milk
- 35 g sugar for each egg white
- ....................
- Icing:
- 100 g whipping cream
- 10 g icing sugar
- 10 g black sesame powder
Instructions

Preheat the oven at +170C

Heat up the oil and mix in well the sesame

Stir in the flour until is well combined

Mix in the sugar

Add the egg yolks, one at a time, mix well

Stir in the milk and mix into a smooth batter

Whisk egg white to soft peaks, add 35g sugar in 3 batches and whisk to firm peaks

Place a spoonful of whisked white into the sesame mixture and gradually fold in the rest of the white gently

Pour mixture into the tin and bake for 25-30 min

Cool upside down

When the cake is completely cooled

Whisked icing and spread over the cake
Notes
I can't recall any more delicate sweet than this one. It's like eating fluffy clouds with lovely toasted sesame flavour. You simply need to give it a try!
